About the Artist
I'm a visual artist based in Kolkata—a city where crumbling colonial facades, tram lines, poetry, politics, and street food coexist in beautiful contradiction. Born and brought up here, I grew up absorbing its layered histories and cosmopolitan rhythm, which quietly shaped the way I see the world. My work moves between photography and painting, between observation and interpretation—drawn to landscapes, people, culture, and the fleeting poetry of everyday life. With an appetite for exploration and a lens guided by curiosity, I chase light, texture, and untold stories—both in the familiar lanes of my city and far beyond them.
